New History for Key Stage 2

The National Curriculum History Programme of Study was revised in 2014 to give a more chronological approach. The choice of topics in Key Stage 2 is wide. Structured Home Learning has textbooks which cover all of the options, and you may select two topics per year as part of a Complete or Enhanced Curriculum Pack. If you would like an additional History topic integrated with the Weekly Schedule, just choose any option from the third drop-down list for just £29 which includes the textbook.

Here is a list of the topics the National Curriculum now requires to be covered over Key Stage 2 (school years 3 to 6), and that are available from Structured Home Learning. Following that, here, we provide recommended topics for each year and additional optional topics for depth and interest.
